Please read and acknowledge the following site requirements prior to site entry
It is a priority of BerQ RNG management to provide visitors with the necessary Health and Safety information, instruction, and supervision so that there are no incidents while on the company premises or when visiting BerQ RNG off-site facilities. Visitors who fail to comply with company guidelines will be escorted from the premises.
To maintain control of visitor activities while at BerQ RNG facilities, the following applies:
- Visitors are defined as persons not regularly employed by BerQ RNG and can include salespersons, contractor07/31/2023s, vendors and others. All visitors must report to the designated sign in/out area upon arrival.
- All visitors must sign the visitor logbook by scanning the SITE ENTER QR Code and filling in the required form on the BerQ RNG website using a smartphone. The logbook form must contain the date of visit, visitor’s name and contact info, company represented and the BerQ RNG host employee’s name.
- Visitors will wait in the designated area until greeted by BerQ RNG host employee or the site operator.
- BerQ RNG host employee will assume responsibility for visitors. Visitors must wear the appropriate personal protective equipment and are not permitted to wander about the premises unless accompanied by BerQ RNG employee.
- Under no circumstances will visitors enter the BerQ RNG site unless they have complied with the following conditions:
- Visitors must log in and out.
- BerQ RNG employees or their operator must brief visitors on company safety rules.
- Visitors must wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the circumstances.
- A BerQ RNG employee or the site operator must accompany visitors at all time.
- Contractors must read and acknowledge the site Contractor Safety Orientation.
- When leaving the facility/site, visitors must return loaned personal protective equipment (if applicable) and sign out using the SITE EXIT QR CODE.
- If visitors fail to use the SITE EXIT QR CODE upon leaving the site, an email will be sent to the Visitor and to the Site manager reminding them that they have not logged out.
The following PPE is required for entry onto the site.
- Ambient Gas Detector: (Inventory available for visitor upon request) Due to potentially high concentrations of poisonous & combustible gases onsite, visitors must wear a Gas Detector or be accompanied by someone who is wearing one.
- Eye Protection: (Inventory available for visitor upon request) Safety Glasses (with hardened side shields) must be worn while on site.
- Hearing Protection: (Inventory available for visitor upon request) Hearing Protection is required to be worn in all posted areas on site.
- Foot Protection: Visitors are authorized to wear flat bottom, closed toed shoes if they are strictly touring BerQ RNG sites. Safety toed boots must be worn while working on site. Open-toed shoes or sandals, or the like, are not permitted.
- Reflective Work Vest: (Inventory available for visitor upon request) Hi-Visibility Class II vest must be worn while touring & working on BerQ RNG sites due to moving equipment/machinery and the potential for low light work activities.
SITE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- All injuries and incidents, no matter how slight, must be reported to BerQ RNG immediately.
- Intoxicants or persons under the influence of intoxicants are not allowed on site.
- Cameras of any type (video, still or other) are not permitted onsite without permission of BerQ RNG. The BerQ RNG host must approve all photographs before they can be taken off the site.
- Fighting and horseplay are not permitted on site property.
- No firearms, ammunition, or articles of similar nature are allowed on site property.
- No smoking in building or on-site grounds. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
